MODIFYING YOUR BOOKING

You can change your activity at the discretion of RACCOON ADVENTURES S.A. DE C.V. (Gozumel),  subject to weather and availability, 72 hours in advance with a $25USD charge.

CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT

If the client does not show up or cancels less than 72 hours in advance before the start of the reserved activity; or arrives after it has started, or leaves it before finishing, no refund will be made, unless there is a prior agreement between RACCOON ADVENTURES S.A. DE C.V. (Gozumel) and the Client that only part of the activity will be carried out.

For cancellations due to illness or medical conditions that deprive the client of carrying out the activity, we will require a written medical certificate prior to the start of the activity. In this case we will do everything possible to reschedule at no extra cost. If it is not possible to reschedule, the client will receive a full refund of the activity that was not carried out.*

• • Cancellations with more than 30 days before the start of the excursion. 100% refund minus payment charges. *

• • Cancellation from 30 to 10 days before the start of the excursion. 50% of your registration will be charged.
  • Cancellation 10 days before the start of the excursion, refunds will not be made.

RACCOON ADVENTURES S.A. DE C.V. (Gozumel) advises you to obtain trip cancellation insurance with your local insurer for these cases, so you will get reimbursement for any medical condition.

CANCELLATION BY THE COMPANY

All our activities depend on the weather and RACCOON ADVENTURES S.A. DE C.V. (Gozumel) reserves the right in any circumstance to cancel the tour. In the event that RACCOON ADVENTURES S.A. DE C.V. (Gozumel) cannot provide the booked tour, we will return the deposits paid to the customer or RACCOON ADVENTURES S.A. DE C.V. (Gozumel) will offer the client an alternative tour. If the alternative tour is rejected by the client, RACCOON ADVENTURES S.A. DE C.V. (Gozumel) reserves the right to deduct the administrative costs resulting from such transactions.

Please note that tours may be operated in light rain and other moderate weather conditions.

Changes to the Itinerary.

Although we strive to adhere to the itinerary and agenda of our tours, RACCOON ADVENTURES S.A. DE C.V. (Gozumel) reserves the right to alter the agenda and itineraries at any time if the client requires it or if it is necessary due to weather conditions.

RACCOON ADVENTURES S.A. DE C.V. (Gozumel) will not be responsible for any compensation to the client if RACCOON ADVENTURES S.A. DE C.V. (Gozumel) is forced to cancel or change tours due to force majeure such as war, riots, coup, demonstrations, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disasters, fires, adverse weather conditions, traffic congestion or any external situation beyond of the control of RACCOON ADVENTURES S.A. DE C.V. (Gozumel).

TOUR AUTHORITY / TOUR EXCLUSION

The decision of the Guide / Operations Manager / employee of RACCOON ADVENTURES S.A. DE C.V. (Gozumel) will be final in any circumstance that could put the group’s safety at risk.

RACCOON ADVENTURES S.A. DE C.V. (Gozumel) will not be responsible for any client who commits an illegal or illicit act of any kind. The client may be excluded from the tour without refund if RACCOON ADVENTURES S.A. DE C.V. (Gozumel) considers the client as not suitable for the tour, may in its absolute discretion cancel your reservation or refuse to continue with the client later if it causes danger, inconvenience or inconvenience to other clients. If the client is under the influence of alcohol/drugs before the activity, the tour will be canceled without refund.

LEGAL INFORMATION

RACCOON ADVENTURES S.A. DE C.V. (Gozumel) is a company registered in Mexico, and follows all regulations imposed on any company operating in Mexico. This means that we are a 100% legal entity, we file taxes and follow common business rules.

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

The Client acknowledges being aware of the proposed activity and confirms that he or she is medically fit, in good health and capable of embarking on said excursion. Any client with a pre-existing medical condition or illness must declare the true nature of such condition at the time of booking. Such Client would be required to provide a general medical certificate stating that they are “fit to carry out the contracted activity”. RACCOON ADVENTURES S.A. DE C.V. (Gozumel) and its representatives will treat any information in the strictest confidence.

INFORMATION

The information that appears in all brochures, leaflets, website, emails and advertising is given in good faith by RACCOON ADVENTURES S.A. DE C.V. (Gozumel) and these are based on the most recent information available at the date of publication. RACCOON ADVENTURES S.A. DE C.V. (Gozumel) reserves the right to change any of the facilities, vehicles or transportation described in the brochures, brochures, website, emails or any other advertising without being subject to reimbursement or compensation.

Although we make an effort to keep our prices advertised in our brochures, leaflets, website, emails and advertising, RACCOON ADVENTURES S.A. DE C.V. (Gozumel) reserves the right to increase its prices at any time due to any unforeseen exchange rate increase or fluctuation to which it may be subject.

Surcharges may not be applied after confirming the reservation.

PHOTOGRAPHIC MATERIAL

Clients must be aware that the RACCOON ADVENTURES S.A. DE C.V. (Gozumel) can take photos or videos of clients during the tours and RACCOON ADVENTURES S.A. DE C.V. (Gozumel) reserves the right to use said material for the production of any advertising or brochures without the consent of the client or payment.
